Aeolian Islands: Sailing and Relaxation

TENTATIVE ITINERARY

Saturday.

Arrival in the afternoon, welcome cocktail, boarding at 6:00 PM, cabin assignment, briefing on the boat, safety equipment, and basic notions of onboard conduct. Dinner at leisure ashore.

Sunday

Heading north, swim stop at Vulcano. Sailing towards Lipari, dinner on board. Overnight at anchor near the Faraglione or the Pietra Pomice, depending on the wind direction during the night.

Monday

Panarea. Swim stop and lunch at Cala Junco or near the neighboring islets, such as Basiluzzo, Dattilo, and Lisca Bianca. Dinner at leisure ashore. Overnight at a mooring buoy or at anchor, based on availability.

Tuesday

Stromboli. Arrival by 4:30 PM to allow for the volcano ascent. Dinner at leisure ashore. Overnight partly at anchor and partly sailing to enjoy the spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco.

Wednesday.

Salina. Swim stop and lunch at Pollara. Mooring in the evening at the port of Santa Marina, in Salina itself, or alternatively, in Lipari at one of the Marina Lunga piers. Dinner at leisure ashore.

Thursday

Alicudi. Swim stop and lunch. In the afternoon, sailing to Filicudi with a swim stop. Dinner on board. Overnight at anchor or at a mooring buoy depending on availability.

Friday.

Departure from Filicudi early in the morning. Swim stop at Vulcano and return to Portorosa by 7:00 PM. Dinner at leisure ashore.

Saturday.

Farewells and check-out at 9:00 AM.
