Tour program

Day 1 – Welcome to Chianti

Welcome to Figline Valdarno, the natural gateway to Chianti and the starting point of our four-day trekking adventure. Here the hills begin to change shape, softening into an alternation of fields, olive groves, and vineyards that herald the typical Chianti landscape. The valleys open into luminous views, while stone farmhouses and rural parish churches tell the story of an authentic and industrious Tuscany. It is a place of transition and harmony, where the Valdarno slowly gives way to the Chianti hills: an invitation to walk calmly, to savor the colors, scents, and slow rhythm of a land that welcomes with elegance and warmth.
Elevation gain: +230/-230 meters approx.
Distance: 12 km approx.

Day 2 – Greve in Chianti

Today's itinerary takes us into the authentic heart of Chianti, where the Tuscan countryside expresses all its harmony among vineyards, olive groves, and Mediterranean scrubland. The views open onto gentle, orderly hills dotted with stone villages, ancient parish churches, and farmhouses immersed in silence. Walking here means breathing in the history of Chianti Classico, connecting with a living agricultural tradition deeply rooted in the land, reflected in the flavors of the wine and the hospitality of its people. A route that combines nature, culture, and taste in Tuscany's most iconic landscape.

Day 3 – Radda in Chianti

Welcome to Radda in Chianti, one of the most charming and authentic villages of Chianti Classico. Surrounded by gentle hills cultivated with vineyards and dense woods, Radda preserves an ancient soul, made of stone alleyways, medieval walls, and views that fade into the hills.

Day 4 – Farewell Chianti

The last day of our trek takes us to Impruneta, an elegant village at the gates of Florence, where Chianti slowly dissolves, giving way to the first hills of the Tuscan capital. Here our journey through vineyards and woods ends, in a landscape that still carries the scent of the countryside but already anticipates the urban and refined atmosphere of the art city. Impruneta is a land of ancient kilns and rural traditions, famous for its terracotta and the prized oil produced here. It is the perfect place to conclude the journey, a destination that embodies the essence of Chianti: the work of man, the beauty of nature, and the serenity of a journey that remains in the heart.
